This was a present to my mum and it was lovely to do together. The studio is clean, modern and perfect for a class. The Japanese green tea and snack was a nice touch. The handout of the information covered was informative and great to be able to refer back to. The flower arrangements were beautiful and we are admiring them daily. This was a wonderful course from beginning to end and exceeded my expectations. Azumi is a floral artist who imparts her love of nature and knowledge with sensitivity, generosity and patience. The theory and practical work were equally engaging. It was a pleasure to work with such beautifully selected flowers and greenery in the calm of the welcoming studio. The course helped de-mystify asymmetrical and more refined arrangements, opening my eyes to a new way of seeing. I was only sorry the course came to an end! Thank you, Azumi. 

I learned so much in this course! It is a beautiful peaceful space to learn in, with a fantastic tutor. Azumi is a very patient and kind teacher and the small class size meant she was able to give us plenty of individual assistance. Her lovely flower choices and colours were so nice to work with and filled my apartment with blooms to enjoy all week long. I will definitely be back for another class.

Our Kokedama Workshop with Azumi was amazing. It was such a warm, intimate and inviting space, which allowed us to feel relaxed whilst enjoying what we were learning. Azumi was a great teacher - She was lovely, clear and gave us not just the "on-trend" information of Kokedama's but where it all originated - it made it feel quite authentic, staying true to what Kokedama's were made for.

Design Principles in Floristry - 6 Week Course

The design course was very beneficial for me as I begin my career in floral design. Azumi is a master of her craft and has so much experience and wisdom to share. The course was underpinned by a study of design theory, followed by practical time. I loved bringing home my own floral creation each week and feel more inspired to learn and create. I would recommend this course for creatives wishing to broaden their understanding of design as a basis for floristry. I look forward to more courses with Azumi in the future!

This course both met and exceeded my expectations it had a lot more depth that what I imagined it would have. It gave me the opportunity to be creative in a different way than I have ever been able to be with flowers.

As a florist this to me this course was really empowering. It helps to inspire and enhance your own personal style and pushes creativity as well as thought process. I never realised how important the design principles were until doing this and applying them to my work. From doing this course you start to know what to look for when something isn’t quite right and how to fix it.

Ikebana (Hanakubari) with Azumi

I attended the Ikebana class by Azumi with three of my friends we all enjoyed the experience. The Gallery Studio was also a delightful space with many examples of the art displayed. I recommend the class for anyone that is interested in the beauty and elegance of Ikebana.

Two hours of magic! I can't say enough about Azumi and her workshop! I learnt so much and worked with beautiful materials!

Azumi was very friendly and professional. It was great to learn Ikebana and the workshop was fun & very engaging. Would come back and do it again!

I really enjoyed the Ikebana.class with Azumi.  Her studio is beautiful and artistic and she is a master of her art.

Although the project looked easy, I learnt that balancing colour and position plays a crucial part in the creation of a beautiful arrangement.

Since attending the class, I have applied my newly learned skills at home, using flowers from my own garden.

I will definitely be booking the freestyle class.

The session was a delight from beginning to end.  From the welcome, our initial discussion and the beautiful flowers we worked with, set the scene for information, gentle direction which I will use with confidence now.
